Fic for everyone (but me)(TM)
Jan. 10th, 2021 06:23 pmSometimes I'm sad about the Silm ships I inaugurated which never took off (and also about all the Fëanor/Son(s) and Son/Son ships that no-one has ever written).
But then I go into into the tags for said ships and all of the scant fics that exist - if any - minus the even rarer exceptions, make me go "no thanks, I'm good like this".
Said other fics might also be more about a certain trope than about the ship itself - characters fuck because of external factors might be nice for variety when there are a lot of fics for a certain ship, but it isn't really my go-to when I want to read about the ship itself.
