Also, how fucking lame is the idea that a pregnant elf woman is hidden away and that's why humans never found out about the wives? Does her husband never mention her? Mention the fact that she's pregnant? Why would a human assume that an elven king isn't married? Why didn't humans just fucking ask? LOLOLOL
This is as ridiculous as the left hand vs right hand explanation.
I've been giving this dude way too much credit, still.
Also not a fan of the whole "you have spent literal years creating headcanons based on existing material, have more now that may entirely contradict them".
Last HoME volume was 1996?
