And there are a couple other scenarios I've come up wrt genderfluid Curufin giving birth to Tyelpë:

1) Maedhros is the dad and the birth happens in Beleriand

Silver fist = Maedhros's prosthetic hand

2) Finwë is the dad...which makes Tyelpë both Fëanor's brother and his grandson. (...)

Silver fist = Míriel's legacy

(Bonus Finwë and Curufin having a thing going without Fëanor knowing, at first, and they have to tell when Curufin is pregnant.)

The reverse of the fic I posted the other day:

Curufin is not able to have babies himself but he's still androgynous af and very much genderfluid.

He marries a woman who is much taller than him and very beefy (the only circumstance in which I'd be happy with Mrs. Curufin being a smith, too) which leads to confusion, like:

a) ok who's the mom and who's dad here? (people usually have it wrong, at first)
b) why have you married a woman who is basically your brother Celegorm + uterus? (guess why)

Then a few days ago I was marveling again at how much sense 'Tyelperinquar' makes as a name if Tyelpë is Celegorm's son, so my brain was like...why not combine ^ with silver = Celegorm is the mom.

Aaand, I really like this idea - gives me many fuzzy feelings - but also makes me very sad for some reason.

Maybe because Curufin would feel a lot of reverence towards Celegorm as his big sister, and also maybe Míriel's ghost lurking? Idk, I feel this doesn't explain it, but anyway.

It's also the perfect set-up to have that painful & emotionally devastating role reversal of the Maiden Astraea - Garl Vinland situation I've always wanted to write (in Doriath ofc: 'You killed her, didn't you? Take this precious Silmaril (may it bring you only pain and suffering)"...........aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah).

No, but fem!Celegorm being jealous when Curufin is pregnant with Tyelpë like-

T - stop sleeping with all those guys!
C - but it's just a different kind of physical exercise and I enjoy it! Plus you're just jealous because you wish the baby was your own.

Which is true (Celegorm is sort of right though in thinking that Curufin sleeps around because the one she really really would like to fuck is their father...and let's pretend that doesn't happen in this verse).

Celegorm is also happy that Curufin will not marry (though she's aware that will make Curufin's life a lot harder).

But yeah, all the loving smutty pregnant Curufin/Celegorm femslash. <3
