Nameless King (and Relentless Headache)

Or getting upskirt views of a god's legs while he slams his sword-spear on your head.
Which sounds a lot kinkier than it actually is.
But yeah, I anticipated Nameless King would be hard.
The first part of the fight wouldn't be so bad if King of the Storm didn't jump out of view, I didn't lose lock on every two seconds and my weapon could actually hit him when it looks like it should.
The best weapon I have in terms of damage dealt is the Dragonslayer Axe (or whatever it's called - Creighton's axe, basically), but it has poor range.
So I went and upgraded the Lothric Knight Greatsword to +9, because it has lightning damage and pretty good physical damage. I also infused it with a blessed gem at some point, thinking it could work both for the dragon and for the Nameless King himself, but it actually deals poor damage to NK. =/ And it's a poor choice for me because I can only carry that with my low vitality (I don't even have Havel's ring).
Next time I think I'll go back to pyromancy (as in black fire orb). I can't miss more than I miss in melee, and maybe dark damage will be good against both enemies. Maybe also try a dark infusion with a long-ranged weapon. And also equip either the priestess ring or the scholar ring for a bit extra faith or int.
All in all, I had a lot fun - it's cool to watch King of the Storm circle you overhead while NK is preparing to hurl lightning at you, and that's also the easiest thing to dodge. I like the fire-spit he does after jumping into the air a lot less, mainly because I can never see where he is and I either die or get badly hurt (I guess I'll try updating camera sensitivity too).
The headache I had had for three days also kind of went away...idk, I'm beginning to think my headaches have a lot to do with what I eat and how much I eat first and foremost and with my mood second. This month has been far from pleasant so far.
ETA: The current wintery temperatures do not help one bit, either.
