My first ever Silm fic was a post-canon thing set in Valinor where of course the Fëanorians didn't just start being friends with everyone again.

At first it was largely OC-focused, and also featured all the characters I don't fancy writing anymore.

It was overdramatic at times and some OCs (including the "main" one) were a little MarySueish.

It also had mpreg, and it also had Eöl in it even though he isn't a character I've ever thought about much.

I was actually surprised by some of the things I wrote in it, which are - years later - the same things I'd like to write/read.

So I'm working on it again after a lustrum-long hiatus.

It's still a bit soap-operaish, but now I have:

- fleshed-out OCs (wives, children, followers)
- a more definite úmanyar/avari POV (Luchanar-Nurwë)
- Daurin Tórin as the "main hub"
- Curufin's wife marrying Ithilbor after her husband dies = issues when she goes back to Valinor
- Caranthir unable to keep his hands off Curufin's oldest daughter because she looks like her father = child
- Celebrimbor has a mom but Curufin can still have babies

& more (as I work on it).

Also, I need to adapt a couple of sex scenes featuring OCs to new OCs or maybe not OCs.
