I finished the Holy Mission questline today.

Overall, I enjoyed it more than the Blue Chamber questline, but less than the Heroic Kingdom shenanigans. The interactions with Oliele were nice and the sense of discovery was nice. Nevertheless, idk, it might be just that I remember my first playthrough as very hard because I sucked, but it feels like there's less to do in both Holy Mission and Blue Chamber...like for Heroic Kingdom there was Sand Corsairs, which included the stuff in the Sand Rose Cave? (or maybe that was later), travelling to Monsoon to get food only that the caravaneer wanted me to go to the Spire of Light, then the insurrection/get into the Palace through the slums. Well, Blue Chamber did have the tuanosaur lair and the Cabal of Wind temple, and I probably didn't suck at those only because I was using the obsidian gun...

But anyway, Doubts and Secrets was ridiculous compared to other missions, just a lot of travelling around. The hardest place to visit as a Holy Mission girl was the Titan something Cave (cool place!) for Truth & Purpose, which I "failed" in that I killed the rebel priests at the end (so I didn't get the armour set, dang it).

I liked that the questline isn't 'Holy Missioni is great!!!' but is more 'doubting the Holy Mission'. I like that Elatt is aware that gods make mistakes too(tm) and that when such a thing happens the consequences are particularly bad, I liked that there were rebel priests. The questline also feels more closely interwoven with the other questlines, particularly Levant, which was a bonus for me.

Then, as soon as I finished Holy Peacemaker I went into the Spire of Light. =D It was much much easier with mana trap (+ the Light Mender tome) and proper armour. It's not a very long dungeon but it can be challenging. I also fought and defeated the Light Mender (apparently liches can catch on fire too...LOL) and then convinced him to supply me with resources. Though I will have to ask Why No Tsar Stones next time I go collect my rewards.

On the way back to Monsoon from the Spire of Light, I attempted to meet the ghost (the one between the two bridges) but it was dark so I fell off a cliff into the marsh and passed out. :')

After sorting myself out, I met the ghosts until the last one gave me Light Mender backpack, which gives you 10% increase in lightning damage, which turned out to be handy agains the folks in the Dark Zigurrat. Yes, I tackled that place too. My being so scared of it turned out to be - surprise surprise - very silly. The place is smaller than it looks and has a very simple layout (which was a bit disappointing), but the structure itself is sooo cool! Also the Plague Doctor is a really cool guy. I got him to craft me two tsar weapons, even though I wanted to use those tsar stones to get a piece of tsar armour done.

I absolutely need to get more tsar stones, with my first character too/especially. She really needs to visit Levant again before completing the Forge Master questline.

Two more silly things I did today: nearly lost to a Phytoflora (for lack of stamina) and lost to a Blade Dancer because if it knocks you down, you're done for (esp. if you're wearing poopy armour).

Speaking of armour, I got both the Gold Lich set and the Jade Lich set, both are cool but unfortunately don't provide much in the way of physical protection. I am using the Gold Lich mask though for that sweet mana cost reduction.
