I'm going to list a few prompts which I hope will be of some inspiration to you, but if you have other ideas, please do write them. So long as my DNWs aren't there, it's all good! If you are inspired by one of my prompts, feel free to adapt it to your needs - the fic can be short or long, focus on an episode or take a very broad look at a situation.
I will be glad with any rating, from gen to explicit (if there needs to be violence).
General Likes
* Loyalty, devotion, close bonds, co-dependency, us-against-the-world, possessiveness, protectiveness etc.
* Characters battling/overcoming a negative fate; characters remaining true to their objective/affiliation no matter what.
* Relationships (friendships, family relations or anything in between) based on things other than affection: obsession, coping, admiration etc.
* Mentor & student dynamics
* Cross-generational friendship (even huge gaps)
* Male-female friendship
* Domestic fluff (food cooking/eating, bathing, cuddling etc.). Curtain fic is welcome too.

Silent Hill
Heather Mason & Douglas Cartland
Douglas and Heather going through everyday life after Silent Hill together. I really like the sort of bond that is formed between the two of them during the game, and I'd like to think it endured. Perhaps something focusing on an important event in Heather's life - graduation, first job etc. (assuming she does those things), or the anniversary of Harry's death.
I'd also be interested in an AU in which Heather does succeed in killing Claudia herself, and the aftermath of that.
Cybil Bennett & Harry Mason
Anything set during Silent Hill 1. I'd particularly love anything from Cybil's perspective - the confrontation with Harry in the amusement park, or the moment she finds Harry in the café at the beginning of the game.
Assuming Cybil survived, any interaction with Harry post-game. Douglas's notebook in SH3 says that Harry was cleared of killing the cult member who went after Heather ("justifiable self-defense, so no punishment"), could Cybil have helped him out with that, considering she went through the same hell as him and knew just how bad the cult was? I'd love something in which Cybil helps Harry and Heather move from Portland to somewhere safer (wherever that was).
Cybil Bennett & Heather Mason
Cybil helping Heather (& Douglas) deal with all the possible legal issues following Harry's death (sneaky things are totally OK - again, Cybil would sympathise). Or any bonding between Cybil & Heather, particularly with Cybil giving Heather her own account of how things went down in Silent Hill.
Eileen Galvin & Frank Sunderland
Eileen discussing her neighbour's weird behaviour with Frank. Or, more in general, a look at life in South Ashfield heights before Walter struck. I like the whole Apartment world a lot, so any exploration of the dynamics inside the building from Eileen and Frank's POV would be great.
Frank Sunderland & Henry Townshend
Why did Frank give Henry the picture we see in his apartment? Was it Frank who told Henry about his son, or did Henry learn about it via gossip? Did Frank ever talk to Henry about James? I think it's fair to assume that they did know each other to some extent - Frank calls Henry by name when he tries to open his door, which might hint at a greater familiarity than Henry has with the other tenants.
Metal Gear
Gray Fox & Naomi Hunter - Please base Naomi's characterisation off MGS1.
I'd love to read your take on the moment when Gray Fox found Naomi again after killing her parents, based on what she says in MGS1: "I was found in Rhodesia sometime in the 80's, a dirty little orphan. [...] He was a young soldier, when he picked me up near the Zambezi River. I was half-dead from starvation and he shared his rations with me. [...] We survived that hell together, Frank and I. He protected me".
Alternately, a quasi-happy quasi-domestic moment between them.
Big Boss & Sniper Wolf - Same as above (the moment when Big Boss rescues Sniper Wolf), or Big Boss teaching Sniper Wolf something military, but still with the focus not wholly on the technicalities of it.
The Silmarillion
Please no:
Aredhel & Celegorm - Male-female friendship with age difference! (It's reasonable to suppose they were over 100 years apart in age). I'd love a fic where Aredhel is still relatively young and Celegorm takes her with him on long journeys even against the advice of their relatives, teaches her hunting and wrestling, with Aredhel seeing him as a weird cross between a friend, an older brother and a mentor (I headcanon he was her #1 (absolutely non-romantic) attachment, aside from her immediate family).
Celebrimbor & Fëanor - The script Celebrimbor uses on the Doors of Khazad-Dûm is a "full" mode, the mode of Beleriand, i.e. a variant of tengwar script where the vowels are written as independent symbols rather than diacritics. We know that Fëanor did develop a (Quenya) full mode for the use of loremasters, so maybe using the mode of Beleriand instead of standard Sindarin mode was a nod to his grandfather on Celebrimbor's part? Or maybe Celebrimbor and Fëanor developed the (prototype for the) mode of Beleriand together before Fëanor died. Alternately, anything with inquisitive kid!Celebrimbor following his grandfather around and deluging him with questions.
Curufin's Wife & Fëanor Curufin & Fëanor
I'd like to read a 'meet-the-family' story - either a situation where Curufin and his wife decided to get married on their own, or an arranged marriage with Curufin's wife being the daughter of one of Fëanor's supporters.
Fëanor and his daughter-in-law politicking together would also be great - I like to think of Curufin's wife as a very ambitious person who viewed her marriage as a pledge of loyalty, and played her full part in the events following the Darkening.
For Curufin & Fëanor specifically, the first time a still rather young Curufin helped his father out on a project.
Curufin & Telchar - Why did the Dwarves trust Curufin enough to let him learn their language? Was it Telchar who taught him? Were they friends? I think there must at least have been a good dose of mutual respect, considering that Curufin ends up having Angrist, too. Just anything with the two of them getting to know each other and sharing their knowledge.
Elemmírë & Maglor - A collaboration: Maglor has to write the music for one of Elemmírë's poems or Elemmírë has to write the words for one of Maglor's pieces, which of course would have entailed discussions about language. Up to you whether they like each other or not, if it's their first meeting or not. I'm fine with any sex/gender Elemmírë.
Fëanor & Míriel Þerindë - Míriel not ending locked up in Mandos forever (Finwë can still get married to Indis, but please no threesome), escape-from-Mandos AUs etc. Scheming Míriel doing her best (or worst) to sabotage the Valar sends me over the moon, especially if the relationship between her and Fëanor shifts to one between woman-in-power and most loyal devotee.
Generally, if Fëanor meets Míriel when he's an adult, I'd prefer the relationship not to be a mother-son thing, but a relationship between two individuals who have a lot of sympathy for each other as people (Fëanor is said to take after his mother 'in mood' anyway), even if they don't approve of each other's choices.
Míriel Þerindë & Sons of Fëanor - I'd love an AU where Fëanor & Míriel stay in Cuiviénen and end up forming an unconventional family, with unmarried Fëanor having children (daughters too!) by different women or bringing in foundlings. Or any AU in which Míriel can interact with her grandsons. I'd love clashes of stubbornness, disagreements over their crafts or teaming up on projects.
Fëanor & Original Character(s) - The Silmarillion says he died with 'friends', which could be taken to mean just supporters, but in any case people ready to stick with him to the bitter end. Who where they? I'd love love love female OCs (for example, disgruntled handmaidens and/or pupils of his late mother; Fëanor likely also had a nurse looking after him during his childhood.)
Fëanor & Maglor - I think they had very different personalities, but were drawn together by deep admiration for each other and their shared interest in languages - but of course, they could have had other interests in common too, and I'd enjoy any exploration of these. For example, the two of them duetting on lutes (or any plucked instrument). All my love if Maglor calls Fëanor by name rather than addressing him as 'father'.

Gelmir & Gwindor - a fix-it fic would be awesome. Either Gelmir never ends up in Angband or escapes or whatever, but yeah, happiness for once. If AU is not your thing, a background story (happy times in Valinor or Beleriand) would be great too.
Curufin & Maglor - Teaming up to build a new musical instrument Maglor has come up with, making tests and overcoming difficulties together. Or the two of them having a conversation at the end of a hard day's work, and one gives the other a nice relaxing massage.
Natsume Yuujinchou
Hinoe & Natsume Takashi - Hinoe watching over Takashi (and reminiscing about Reiko) even when Takashi doesn't know she is. Or Hinoe telling Takashi all that she knows about his grandmother.
Madara "Nyanko-sensei" & Natsume Reiko - Madara seems to have known Reiko better than most, so when did they first meet? Did they meet as friends or did they clash before warming up to each other?

In general, I really like Japanese folklore, so anything involving spirits (both those that appear in the manga and those that don't) would be great. I'm not much into the TRC connection.
Watanuki Kimihiro & Zashiki-Warashi - Watanuki invites the Zashiki-Warashi over for tea (or a full meal). Cuteness ensues. Feel free to include anyone else in the cast. (Or you could set it after Yuuko's disappearance and make it more wistful, that's cool too).
Doumeki Haruka & Doumeki Shizuka - Granpa Haruka taking care of young Shizuka, and teaching him the ropes of exorcism. Or an adventure they had together - even without any dealings with the supernatural. Just give me some cute granpa-grandson bonding.
Doumeki Haruka & Watanuki Kimihiro - Watanuki gets trapped in a not so pleasant dream and Haruka comes to the rescue.
Bloodborne
Eileen the Crow & The Hunter - I'd love female!Hunter and I'd love something with a mentor-student dynamic. What if this particular Hunter came from the same hinterlands as Eileen did and perhaps had a deeper connection to her than other hunters passing through Yharnam?
Father Gascoigne & Henryk - Anything about their long partnership, particularly with Henryk helping Gascoigne deal with Yharnam's xenophobic treatment of strangers, or happy times with Gascoigne's daughters (assuming that the 'grandad' the little girl mentions is Henryk).
Gehrman the First Hunter & Laurence - First meetings fic, possibly with an exploration of their backgrounds and their involvement with Byrgenwerth. Why was Gehrman ready to go so far as getting himself locked up in the dream? What sort of relationship did exist between them?
Law & Order
Lennie Briscoe & Mike Logan - It's been a few years since I've last watched Law & Order, but this is one of my favourite duos in the show (if not the favourite), so anything about them will make me happy - the story could be set at the beginning of their partnership or after Mike leaves, be focused on a case or set in a moment when nothing particularly significant happens work-wise.

- Redemption, self-loathing, and generally everybody falling in line with the POV of the book - I don't think the Fëanorians or Míriel saw themselves as the book sees them, or actually thought all the thoughts historians ascribed to them etc.
- The version of Losgar with the twin's death (not canon for me).
- 'Fëanor was always angry', 'X Fëanorian loved his half-family more than his brothers/father' etc.
